Coho salmon is mild and easy to use in a host of different preparations and styles. In the spring, you’ll enjoy a light flaky fillet and as the season progress toward autumn, a fuller bodied and richer piece of fish. Coho is great for baking or grilling, but there's nothing quite like a poached coho fillet, with a caper tomato vinaigrette to enhance and highlight this salmon's natural refinement. Triad Fisheries

Sitka, AK

Triad Fisheries is a family-owned hook-and-line fishery off the coast of SE Alaska with a dedication to transparency and sustainability. Triad fish are caught using a slow hook-and-line method to minimize stress, processed immediately on-board, and frozen within 90 minutes. This fishery in SE Alaska has the lowest carbon footprint of any Alaska Fishery, since the boats don't run back and forth from town daily and they fish at a very slow speed. Because the fish are processed immediately after catch, the safety and quality is unsurpassed.
