Tea Jams
Northfield, CT
William Schneider grew up in West Cornwall, Connecticut, just down the road from the Harney & Sons tea factory, where the aromas of blending tea were part of his everyday landscape. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2007 and spending years cooking professionally, he launched Tea Jams in 2021 with the goal of making small-batch fruit jams infused with Harney & Sons teas. The idea crystallized at a Mother's Day brunch where a combination of strawberries and Paris tea became an immediate household staple.
Each jam is built from organic whole fruit and uses significantly less sugar than conventional jams, around 5 grams per serving. Tea Jams is the first multi-use jam on the market — spoon it onto toast, stir it into yogurt, or dissolve a scoop into hot or cold water for an instant fruity iced tea.
