Good Culture
Austin, TX
Good Culture’s mission is to reinvent the food system from the ground up, creating real, healing foods that are good for people, animals, and the planet. Co-founded in 2015 by Jesse Merrill and Anders Eisner, the brand began as a response to a personal healing journey and quickly became known for thick, creamy, organic cottage cheese made simply, with high-protein, low-sugar recipes free from gums, additives, and artificial preservatives.
Good Culture takes a holistic, values-driven approach to their products and operations. Since 2015, they have partnered with 1% for the Planet, contributing 1 percent of their organic revenue to nonprofits focused on soil health, regenerative agriculture, and education for farmers. Through their Path to Pasture program, launched in partnership with Dairy Farmers of America, they support dairy farms in multiple U.S. regions in transitioning to pasture-based management, improving soil vitality, infrastructure, and cow turnout on grass.
Available in both USDA Organic and 'Simply' lines, Good Culture sources milk from pasture-raised family farms committed to animal welfare and regenerative agriculture. Their organic line adheres to strict standards and contributes to a growing supply chain rooted in transparency and sustainability.
