Yellowfoot mushrooms are a breed of chanterelle mushrooms that have to be wild foraged because it is near impossible to replicate it's symbiotic relationship with other plants in commercial cultivation. Make sure to clean them very well, but do not soak them as they can become water logged. Make sure to eat these mushrooms cooked: grilled, sautéed, fried, or boiled. Let your imagination run wild as these mushrooms mild taste means they work well in any recipe that calls for cooked mushrooms or wild mushrooms.
