They are made with spelt flour which contains gluten, but Jesha’s Bakery ferments every batch with sourdough starter, a process that naturally degrades the gluten content. That being said, they do contain gluten and are not suitable for anyone with celiac disease or other forms of gluten intolerance.

All their mixes are made with 100% locally grown and milled grains. Local grains are vibrant in flavor, rich in nutrients, and an important part of a sustainable food system.
