Siberian Garlic

This garlic has a pretty pink skin, that turns a reddish purple when grown in high-iron soils. Great for growing in colder climates, like the east coast, this garlic has a medium-to-strong, very warm flavor. Nowhere near as intense or sharp as other specialty garlic. However, the real great thing about this garlic is it's high levels of allicin, perhaps the highest of all garlic, which is the compound that gives garlic all it's famed health benefits like keeping cholesterol in check, boosting the immune system, and enhancing circulation.
