One of the prettiest cabbages in the bunch, savoy cabbages are shaped like green cabbages, but the leaves are deep green and deeply crinkled. Their flavor is mild and earthy, and the leaves are tender even when raw. Savoy cabbage is great sliced thinly in soups and stir-fries, or makes a stunning stuffed cabbage dish. You can also go decadent and braise it in butter or cream.

The Landisville Produce Co-operative was started in 1914 and today is oldest operating agricultural co-operative in the United States. They represent a network of over 40 local growers who have been selected based on their continued quality and reliability. Their growers provide the co-op with product availability and, in turn, Landisville provides them with a sales and distribution venue. They also support their growers by providing point of sale displays and trade show support.
Store uncut, loosely wrapped in plastic, for up to a week. Wrap cut portions tightly in plastic and use within 3 days.
