Ecologically caught off the coast of northern Spain, Conservas Ortiz preserves their sardines using traditional Spanish methods. The sardines are cleaned by hand, one by one, and fried in virgin olive oil. Preserved sardines have a flavor which improves with the years, becoming more tender and delicate, so you can store these sardines for a long time and still expect a great, if not better, flavor. Eat as is or serve as part of an antipasta, salad, or sandwich.
