Heated in a steam kettle then hand-dipped into traditional tins, Narragansett's ricotta can be enjoyed savory or sweet. An award winning cheese, once you taste its fresh milk flavor and feel its creamy texture, you'll know why people cannot get enough! Mix with herbs or spinach and use as a lasagna, ravioli, or stuffed shell filling; whip with sugar and vanilla for fresh cannoli cream; dress with olive oil and herbs or honey and lavender and spread on crust bread or crackers; bake a ricotta cheese cake.

Narragansett CreameryNarragansett Creamery

Providence, RI

At Narragansett Creamery, they make cheese everyday because they love to and because they believe in freshness. They use local milk, kind bacteria, vegetable-based rennet, salt and nothing else. While not certified organic, Narragansett Creamery is thoughtful in their actions and purchases, considering their customers and the planet. The creamery supports fair-trade and local ingredients to the best of their ability and pledge to not use growth hormones. A proud, family-owned company, the Federico Family started Narragansett Creamery in 2007. After generations of cooking and creating home-cooked culinary delights, they started a family run food company, Providence Specialty Products. Mark and Pattie Federico decided to launch an artisan cheese brand as part of this company, and thus, the creamery was born. Now, only a few year later, they have become a trusted name throughout New England, and are making their way down here to NYC!
