Moses Grows It is owned and operated by Moses Kashem, a first-generation farmer who grew up in South Florida. He founded St. Simon's Farm, which operates through the Urban Vegetable Project, in 2017 on a quarter-acre, earned his organic certification, and has grown steadily since. St. Simon’s Farm now spans over several hundreds of acres of certified organic land, part of which was converted from a citrus grove after greening devastated the area's trees. His operation packs under the Moses Grows It label, with core crops of zucchini, tomatoes, yellow squash, kale, cucumbers, and peppers.
