We are so thankful for this variety of watermelon because it fits in our boxes! Other than its size, its characteristics are comparable to those of other larger watermelon varieties. Its flesh is ruby red, tender-crisp, succulent, and sweet. Enjoy a slice on a hot day; or cut into chunks for a fruit salad. Watermelon also goes great with salty feta and mint. Get the most out of your melon by roasting the seeds and pickling the rind.
