Based on Welsh Caerphilly cheese, Landaff is an American original crafted from raw milk from Deb and Doug Erb's award-winning herd of Holsteins. Together with the Kehler brothers at Jasper Hill Farm, they tweaked the traditional Welsh recipe to make a domestic cheese that has the pucker and twang to rival some of the finest cheeses from the British Isles, while maintaining a tantalizing, butter texture. Serve on your next cheese plate with fig jam; melt on toasted garlic bread; make incredible risotto or mac and cheese.
