New Jersey

Jersey Fresh is New Jersey's statewide agricultural marketing program, established in 1984 to connect consumers with the fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown across the Garden State. The program certifies produce against graded quality standards covering size, shape, and ripeness, giving buyers a reliable signal for what's in season and at its best. New Jersey grows more than 100 varieties of produce and ranks in the national top ten for crops including blueberries, peaches, bell peppers, tomatoes, squash, and cranberries. Because Jersey Fresh farms sit close to regional distribution centers, growers can harvest at peak ripeness and move produce to market quickly, which means better flavor and more of the vitamins and minerals left intact.
