Similar to the popular Bartlett, Harrow Sweet Pears ripen later in the season; so you get to enjoy this fall fruit even longer. Given their autumnal colors, they are the perfect adornment for your fruit bowl. Eat as is, or use in a savory preparation like a pear, blue cheese and walnut salad, crêpe or sauce. You can also can or preserve these pears to get you through a long, fruitless winter.
