Native to the United States, cranberries grow in sandy bogs in the Northeast. We think of cranberries as growing in water despite the fact that they grow on vines because the bogs are flooded for easier harvesting since cranberries float! The pop of tart, fruity flavor that these berries bring to the table will accent all your holiday favorites. Bake into stuffing or pumpkin muffins, roast with Brussels sprouts, simmer down into a gastrique or traditional cranberry sauce, or simply add them raw to a food processor with orange juice, zest and a bit of sugar for a quick relish!
