A New York native, the Cortland is a cross between McIntosh and Ben Davis and has been grown here since the early 20th century. This popular apple is exceptionally juicy and exhibits a sweet vinous flavor and crisp refreshing bite. Perfect for making your first apple pie of the season, refreshing yourself on a hotter fall day, or perhaps stewing into an apple butter.

Fishkill Farms is a 270-acre apple orchard and vegetable farm situated in East Fishkill, New York. It has been under the ownership of the Morgenthau family for over a century. The farm boasts a variety of homegrown organic vegetables and eco-certified fruit, which can be readily found throughout the year at their farm store. Additionally, their produce is accessible through their seasonal pick-your-own operation, CSA program, and various farmer's markets in the Hudson Valley and New York City. From the onset of spring with peas and strawberries to the autumn harvest of apples and pumpkins, the farm offers a plethora of family-friendly outdoor activities for the local community.

In 2016, the farm received organic certification through NOFA NY for its vegetables, berries, eggs, and around a half of its apple orchards. In the tradition of the farm’s founder, Robert and Josh are dedicated to preserving the land as an active and productive farm, while continuing to improve their growing practices for years to come.
