This Tahini consists of hulled, roasted sesame seeds from Humera, Ethiopia. Tahini is often referred to as sesame butter because of its rich and silky texture; and as such, tahini makes a great base for a salad dressing or dip while also making a great base for a variety of sweet treats. Its vegan, gluten-free and kosher.
Tahini will easily last about 2 years out of the fridge. But, we recommend refrigerating your jar once it is open. This will keep it fresh and slow down the separation of natural oil in the sesame seeds, which may start to occur after a few months. If you notice that your tahini has a layer of oil at the top, all you need to do is stir it back in.
