The perfect child of a plum and an apricot, the dark purple, velvety skin gives way to a deep golden flesh that is sweet like an apricot with the tangy finish of a plum. While they are best for fresh eating as is, they would also make a great ingredient in a jam or compote.

Once ripe, store in the fridge. Eat as soon as possible for best flavor.
