Plowbreak Farm is a certified organic, diversified vegetable farm located on the rolling hills above Seneca Lake in New York’s Finger Lakes region. Owned and operated by farmers Aaron Munzer and Kara Cusolito since 2012, the farm is rooted in a deep commitment to community, sustainability, and growing high-quality food.
Plowbreak cultivates ten acres of vegetables on a fifty-acre property, along with nine high tunnels that extend the growing season and protect crops. Every harvest is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. Instead, the farm prioritizes soil health and ecosystem vitality through practices like cover cropping, compost-based fertility, habitat plantings, and reduced tillage.
