A variety of the French Charentais, this melon is striking with its bold longitudinal stripes and bright orange flesh. Reminiscent of honeydew and cantaloupe in flavor, it has more of a crisp texture with notes of sugarcane and tropical fruit. Substitute for other melon varieties in any recipe for a more subtle experience.
