Black Dragon is a single-origin kombucha vinegar slowly fermented and aged in new American oak barrels crafted by artisan coopers in the Adirondacks. Time and oak play a central role, softening acidity while building depth and structure.
It’s made from large, mature tea leaves grown in Anxi, Fujian, one of China’s most respected oolong-producing regions. The leaves are tightly rolled and partially oxidized, lending the vinegar a deep yet surprisingly fruity aromatic profile.
Rich and expressive, Black Dragon carries notes of cacao, toasted oak, and tamarind, with a lingering, layered finish. Inspired by traditional black vinegars, it’s well suited for savory cooking, sauces, shrubs, or cocktails where complexity and character matter.
