Hudson Valley Fisheries’ cold-smoked Steelhead trout is hand-cured with all-natural ingredients and smoked in small batches by the family-owned Samaki smokehouse, located in the Hudson Valley. Made from premium fresh Steelhead trout fillets, the fish is grown and harvested in a state-of-the-art recirculating aquaculture system. It contains no added hormones, antibiotics, artificial dyes, mercury, or microplastics.

Their filtration system is designed to convert fish waste into fertilizer for plant growth on our farmland and re-use as much water as possible. Operating in a self-contained manner, the steelhead trout are free of mercury and microplastics that are now accumulating in open seas. Our steelhead enjoy Best Aquaculture Practices-certified feed that is free of GMOs, feather meal, corn or soy. Their fish have a super clean, mild flavor, delicate aroma and a medium flake.
