Since bananas are not grown in the US, we've gone to Ecuador to meet the demand for this creamy, yellow fruit. But worry not! These bananas are organic and fair trade, meaning the farmers in charge of these bananas were paid a fair price for their exceptionally grown nanners. Enjoy sliced on cereal or yogurt, blend into a smoothie, bake banana bread, or freeze and make vegan (n)ice cream!

Our bananas come from small-farmer cooperatives in Ecuador and Peru through Equal Exchange — a fair trade, organic supply chain built around co-ops rather than large plantations. It’s a smaller supply than the conventional market, so when a shipment falls short, you may occasionally receive a national brand, including Dole, instead.
