Ovid, NY

During the COVID-19 lockdown, a group of Amish dairy farmers in Seneca County, NY became aware that the commodity-based milk market was disintegrating. As a result, a partnership was formed to build and operate a creamery to provide a market for the milk produced on our traditional, small family-owned and operated dairy farms. Family Farms Creamery currently produces cheese but hope to diversity into other dairies. Their hope is to provide fresh local dairy to both retail and wholesale customers who desire sustainable produced food.
