Seal the Seasons

Seal the Seasons was founded in 2014 to help make local frozen produce available year-round, while also helping provide small family farms with a reliable income stream year after year. CEO Patrick Mateer and his team work with family farmers on a state-by-state basis to freeze their produce in season and sell it in local grocery stores 365 days a year. They are on a mission to create a more localized food system and make local produce available year-round. Their close relationships with local farmers allows us to source only the best produce, without worry about the need to survive lengthy transport. In 2017, Seal the Seasons became a certified B Corporation. Seal the Seasons is committed to using business as force for good in the world by balancing profit and purpose.​ B Corporations have committed themselves to a set of non-traditional business practices that benefit employees, customers, and the community by creating a positive impact on society. The shared set of values between B Corporations include purpose, accountability, and transparency.
