Every cow at Crosswinds is born and raised on the farm, with many living well beyond the average dairy lifespan. In a rare and remarkable practice, the cows are allowed to raise their own calves, creating a natural rhythm where both thrive. The herd grazes fresh pastures daily and feeds exclusively on homegrown grasses and legumes—never treated with pesticides or herbicides—grown in diverse, perennial fields that sustain soil health year after year.
