Clover Nook Farm

Clover Nook Farm is a 9th-generation family farm in Bethany, Connecticut, with roots on the land dating back to the 1700s. The farm’s history traces to the French family, who used the land as summer pasture in the 1600s, with David French establishing a homestead there in 1765. Over the generations, the farm has evolved from dairy, poultry, orchards, and hay production into a diverse agricultural operation focused on fresh produce and livestock.

Clover Nook grows a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, strawberries, sweet corn, flowers, and other crops, while also raising British White Park beef cattle. In 2000, Clover Nook Farm was recognized as a Connecticut Century Farm, reflecting its longstanding connection to the land and the local community.
