Also known as rapini, this Italian strain of broccoli is refreshingly bitter with a more toothsome bite than traditional broccoli. Blanch, then sauté with olive oil, garlic and some red pepper flakes. Serve as is; or toss into a hoagie with some provolone for a great vegetarian sub.
