Apple Butter

Out of stock

This handmade apple butter from Solebury Orchards starts with their delicious, locally-grown apples, that are then crushed, cooked into apple sauce, and then simmered for even more hours with their own apple cider until the apple sauce thickens and develops a deep, rich caramelization. No extra sugar or flavorings needed!

Spread onto cinnamon toast; make an autumnal PBJ; serve with a cheeseboard.

Solebury Orchards, New Hope PA

Solebury Orchards began in 1985 on 24 acres of land situated in the fertile soils of central Bucks County. The gently rolling field, which originally grew crops of corn and soybean, was transformed with rows of apple, peach, pear, cherry, plum, and apricot trees. Within several years blueberries and blackberries were added to the list of crops grown. Business at the orchard steadily grew and in 1996 a 45 acre field just east on Creamery Road was added to the farm. Cider pressing began in the early years and today Solebury Orchards' Cider can be found throughout the local area and is well known for its superb flavor. Brian Smith, who started Solebury Orchards and still runs the farm today, is passionate about growing the finest quality fruit and seeking out the very best varieties. New trees are planted every year and the orchard is looking forward to many productive years to come.
