Tender Belly was founded in 2010 by brothers Shannon and Erik Duffy, who grew up in Iowa and shared a passion for creating the best-tasting pork possible. Starting with small-batch bacon made from heritage-breed pork, they focused on quality, flavor, and responsible sourcing from day one.
Their approach combines simple ingredients, dry rubs, and slow cherrywood smoking to achieve rich flavor without shortcuts. All Tender Belly products are made without added water, antibiotics, or artificial ingredients, and the brand’s commitment to craft has expanded into a full line of bacon, ham, sausage, and pulled pork.
