Pedersen Farms
Seneca Castle, NY
Pedersen Farms has been rooted in the Finger Lakes since 1981, founded by Rick and Laura Pedersen, who both grew up in the region. What began on rented land in 1983 has grown into a thriving farm with its main offices, warehouse, shop, and cooling barn located on the home farm, and additional fields and a packing house on Vogt Road.
Over the years, the farm has explored a wide variety of crops, shifting from primarily processing vegetables to fresh market production. In 2004, Pedersen Farms began transitioning land to organic production, and today it proudly cultivates 600 acres of certified organic vegetables and grains, along with 900 acres of conventional crops.
The farm’s crop mix evolves each year with the seasons, market demand, and customer needs—always with a focus on quality, sustainability, and showcasing the bounty of the Finger Lakes.
