For three generations, the Polymenakos family has cultivated olives, starting in 1850 when their great-grandfather settled in Lagio village. Today, with 15,000 trees in Laconia's Lagio region, they specialize in producing high-quality olive oil, using the unique Koroneiki variety, and employing modern processing technology to preserve nutrients in their cold-pressed olive oil. Their blend of Koroneiki and Athinolia varieties boasts a distinctive flavor enriched by Laconia's native vegetation, all under the recognition of a Protected Geographical Indication.
