Latham Farms

Latham Farms is a multigenerational family farm in Orient, at the eastern tip of Long Island's North Fork. Established in 1809 and farmed by the same family for generations, it is one of the oldest continuously operating farms on Long Island. Surrounded by the waters of Long Island Sound and Gardiners Bay, the farm benefits from a unique maritime climate that supports a long growing season and exceptional flavor. Today, the Latham family continues a tradition of careful stewardship, growing a wide range of fruits, vegetables, and flowers while maintaining the fertile soils and farming heritage that have sustained the farm for more than two centuries.
