In 2018, ForA:Butter set out to make the butter of the future. Why? Everyone loves butter –but industrial factory farming threatens both our species and our planet. Outdated margarines and even newer butter alternatives still do not make the cut on flavor, texture, functionality, and clean ingredients. Butter needed to be reimagined in order to address at scale this existential threat. “Vegan” predecessor brands missed the point. Strict vegans comprise at most 4.0% of the U.S. population. ForA:Butter is not yet another “vegan butter." From its every careful detail, it is made for anyone who simply wants to eat better.
